Would you like to see the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth? Come to Vancouver’s Mini Maker Faire this weekend at the PNE Forum! The Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild will have a booth where you can admire modern quilts in various stages of completion, watch VMQG members demonstrate how they make a quilt, and you can even participate in a collaborative quilting activity (no experience required!).

What: Vancouver Mini Maker Faire (according to their website, Maker Faire is: a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.) In addition to the indoor section where the VMQG will have our booth, there will be amazing exhibits outdoors, so come prepared for the weather. Take a look at this list of makers to see some of the fascinating groups that will be at Maker Faire!

When: Saturday, June 23rd and Sunday, June 24th from 10 am until 6 pm

Where: At the PNE forum building, which is easily accessible from the corner of Hastings and Renfrew. View Larger Map
