Who’s in for a sleepover? The Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild is planning our first ever overnight retreat! If you’ve never been on a quilting retreat before, prepare for hours and hours of cutting, pressing, sewing, laughing, eating, drinking, sharing ideas and fun, fun, fun. We won’t guarantee any sleep, but shenanigans are a given.
Our retreat will take place at Edenvale – a lovely retreat centre in Bradner (near Abbotsford). You can visit their website for photos and directions here. We’ll take over the full house: conference room, dining room and bedrooms. Everyone will have their own 6′ table to work on! The grounds and gardens are beautiful and include a walking trail through a forest on the property.
