VMQG Retreat, January 2022

At long last – we are able to gather together again and retreat! Our upcoming retreat is again at Edenvale – a lovely retreat centre in Abbotsford. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and include a walking trail through their own private small forest.

We will have three days and three nights, Friday to Monday from January 14-17, 2022.

Here are the details:
Location: Edenvale Retreat Centre
4330 Bradner Road, Abbotsford
Dates: Friday, January 14 – Monday, January 17, 2022
Check-in: 1:00 pm on Friday
Check-out: 2:00 pm on Monday

Included: all meals (including dinner on Friday and brunch on Monday), linens, work tables (everyone will have their own 6′ table to spread out on), ironing stations and power bars.

COVID Considerations:
Edenvale complies with provincial health regulations and requires its guests to be vaccinated against COVID 19. Please bring your vaccine passport and photo ID as proof of vaccination.

Note that Edenvale does request that their staff be fully vaccinated but due to labour shortages, they cannot guarantee that all their staff are vaccinated against COVID 19. We realize this may cause some folks to decide not to attend the retreat and we are looking at alternative venues for future retreats.

Cost for rooms:
Double: $475
Single: $575

Payment:
$120 non-refundable deposit by November meeting, final payment due by the December meeting.

Please send your e-transfer deposit of $120 to Lorna at treasurer@vancouvermodernquiltguild.ca. Then email Elisabeth at Elisabeth.j.geller@gmail.com to let her know whether you want a single or shared room. If you are sharing and you have a person identified to share with, please let her know that as well.

If you prefer to send a cheque for your deposit, please email Elisabeth (address above) to arrange this.

There are only 18 spots so if more people sign up, we will take a waiting list. Your space is only reserved once your full deposit has been received.

If you have any questions about the retreat, please reach out to Elisabeth by email.
