After the very successful overnight retreat last May, we have all been waiting for the next one! It was so great to spend time with other guild members and work on all kinds of projects! One of the most fun events was the pillowcase swap so we will be running another swap this time. We also had lots of door prizes and an epic show and tell.
Our retreat will take place again at Edenvale – a lovely retreat centre in Bradner just near Abbotsford. It is an easy drive out as it is just off Highway 1. Check out the Edenvale website for photos and directions. We will take over the full house: conference room, dining room and bedrooms. Everyone will have their own 6′ table to work on. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and include a walking trail through a forest on the property. All meals are included and the quality of the meals is excellent.
