Inspired in large part by VMQG member Trish Vickery’s red and white round robin top, we are going to throw in some graphic black squares for this month’s block lotto challenge.

For our blocks we will use the same measurements as Teresa’s tutorial: cut the black centre blocks 5.5″ and the corner red & white blocks 3″. With the magic of chain piecing I made eight of these in short order. They finish at about 5.375″ (5 3/8″).
