With travel restrictions gradually lifting perhaps you are taking off to some country property, or imagining summers past spent in cottage, tent, or RV. Time to sew a simple classic, the log cabin block.
And, so many iterations of the log cabin to choose from. I’ve been making the fields and furrows version with light on one side and dark on the other. I love how nearly every mode of organizing the blocks has a name connecting us to a tradition, no matter how modern we make it.
