Words. They are a big part of our landscape, especially when most of us spend a goodly portion of our days engaging with screens. That might sound like an argument against dragging and dropping words into quilts, but they can be a powerful communicator in fabric too and last longer than a tweet (no matter if the internet is forever, quilts can last a long, long time too).
This month’s assignment is to add a word or phrase to your quilt top. Something small, or big and bold. Quotes, song lyrics, scripture: What is the conversation that you have been having with your quilt top so far?
