The Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild exists to provide a place where modern quilters can meet, share and create. Our online group was founded by Holly Broadland in January, 2010 and we had our first meeting in June, 2010.
We are the Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada chapter of the Modern Quilt Guild, and as such, we are part of the Modern Quilt Guild movement that encompasses over 100 modern quilt guilds in Canada, the United States, and internationally.
The Modern Quilt Guild seeks to foster a vibrant and inclusive organization built on encouragement and mutual respect, where all feel welcome. We support the participation of all who are interested in the growth and development of modern quilting and we value the diversity arising from differences that make us who we are.
