Welcome Robins,
Unfortunately due to the circumstances of social distancing our 2020 round robin (RR) plans were shelved. I hope that you will return to the proverbial flock with your project this year as we are adapting for Robin Robin 2021, the virtual edition. Until we can safely meet again, I will give monthly prompts so that we can continue to work on our quilts ourselves or safely trade amongst friends. More accurately this will be less RR and more mystery modern medallion, but for the time being I will continue to call it RR as that is the ground it sprung from.
To get started you can use the center block and borders from 2020 or pull out some unfinished tops from past RRs that need something extra to get them to the finish line. Even if you have not participated in one of our RRs before, if this concept puts the wind under your wings, join us.
Because this project is meant to be community-oriented, it would be wonderful to see your progress online. The Vancouver MQG’s preferred platform is Instagram, therefore if you tag your posts #vanmqgrr21, then we can easily locate each others’ work.
