Moving on to the third month of our improv sampler! (If you’re new to it, details are here)

The images this month are of the Museum of Anthropology at UBC. The architecture of this building is really interesting, it’s inspired by the post-and-beam architecture of northern Northwest Coast First Nations people. We hope it inspires you to play with lines, and maybe incorporate some improv log cabins into your sampler block?

Here are some sample blocks made by guild members to get your inspiration going, but remember, it’s entirely up to you how you interpret the pictures –

Kristyn’s block
one of Lorna’s blocks
the second of Lorna’s blocks
one of Arita’s blocks
Arita’s second block
amy’s block

Bring your blocks back to the March meeting to show them off!
