From the Greek asteriskos meaning “little star”, the asterisk is an ancient symbol that has gotten a modern makeover much like quilting. Why not combine the two? Oh wait, it’s been done and it’s br*ll**nt.
This block has a lot of visual energy for a cluster of straight lines, and it can be made to be matchy-matchy or super scrappy. But whatever you choose, asterisks will add some zing to your round robin tops.
